Ghent, 25 January 2017 - Video Marketing company StoryMe will kick off the year by amplifying its charitable efforts in 2017. The company is launching a new program to create free video for NGOs making a social impact in Belgium and beyond. The scale-up firmly believes that Video Marketing can be as simple as hello and is a valuable tool for any company aiming to spread their message far and wide. All NGOs who would like to be considered for the free video program are welcome to apply by February 10, 2017.
Getting back to the basics
StoryMe has its earliest roots in supporting companies with a mission. “We love helping organizations visualize their powerful message in a simple and effective way,” says founder and CSO, Lorenzo Bown. In fact, he started off doing exactly that. His first company LetMeShowYou worked with NGOs to produce visual support such as videos, documentaries, apps, etc. Within StoryMe, employees have raised money to support charitable causes. In 2015, StoryMe raised money for UNICEF to purchase a water pump in Africa. The following year, the company adopted a penguin through the WWF adoption program, giving clients the option to help adopt by adding 35€ to their invoice amount. And most recently, the team raised money for Belgian NGO and client Memisa, providing aid to mothers and their children in impoverished countries.
StoryMe has even more exciting plans in store for 2017. This holiday season kicked off in a big way thanks to Time4Society and StoryMe. Because of them, StoryMe’s beloved office mascot and giant puppy found a new home at the CKG de Schommel, a center in Averbode helping parents to raise and educate their children. In the coming months, Time4Society will also work with StoryMe to organize employee Team Time at different NGOs throughout Belgium.
