Meet our happy bunch of Video Marketeers!

These gorgeous men and women are on the front lines of video marketing listening to clients, following trends and being ready for all of your video-related questions. We have Harry, Vincent (x2!), Nils, Elke, Karel and Arthur in sales, kickass chick Marketing Mary and sweet yet sassy Violette, our very own happiness manager (with a whip). You can find them in the sales corner, right when you enter our offices! They’ll be the first people you meet, so let’s get to know them a little better.

Sales is all about nurturing relationships. How would you woo someone on a first (business) date?

Harry: On a first date it is important to get to know your date a little bit better. What kind of person are they? What do they need to move forward? What makes that person happy?

Elke: I let them do all the talking! And my red dress with matching lipstick usually speaks for itself ;)

Nils: It’s important to get to know each other on a personal level. I love people who are open and outgoing, but also an expert at their job.

Karel: Take the pressure off by making the first joke, ideally at your own expense. And wear non-matching socks. It forces you to be interesting enough to keep your date focused on your face.

My best joke? What did the Zen Buddist say to the hotdog vendor? Make me one with everything.

Vincent D: Authenticity is key! Stay focused, ask questions. Make people laugh. I don’t believe in the hard sell. It’s all about fostering a personal connection.

Arthur: I am simply me at all times. There’s very little difference between Arthur at the bakery, at my best friend or with a customer. I am just always interested in their story.

Vincent L: Never use opening sentences, it never works. Go personal and get to know the person in front of you. Make sure they remember you, do whatever it takes :)

Marie, you’re the only marketing lady in the SMARKETING team. How do you make sure you’re a force to be reckoned with? aka: What would Beyoncé do?

Be fierce.

Violette, which of the events you’ve organized have brought people the most happiness? How can you tell?

The big StoryMe BBQ is probably the event that made the team the happiest. Everyone got to enjoy a whole evening together, showing off the new StoryMe office to their friends while eating, drinking and dancing without having to worry about work!
